For those that asked what was going on with my health...i have been a diabetic with hypertension and high cholesterol for many years, at times controlled and other times not. The years had taken their toll on my kidneys and my blood pressure has been very high for quite a while considering being on up to 5 pills a day for it. About 2 months ago my regular doctor ordered more labs to check kidney function and promptly set me up to see a kidney specialist. The specialist ordered various tests including an ultrasound of my kidneys and after getting the results ordered another to see herself firsthand. They found a mass the size of a tennis ball(kidneys arent much bigger) on one of the kidneys, ironically the one that works best. More tests and it was declared non-cancerous but my overall kidney function is going downhill fast...anyhow i did not want to say anything before without talking to my kids about it as they are noticing more symptoms...
