For those that would need or want a hand made wooden bucket I have a question. Would you rather have a bucket that is functional, period, and reasonably priced or would you rather have one that is functional, period, and highly priced. The difference in the price will be how much time I have to take to seal the bucket with either soaking, which eventually dries out, or some kind of period sealant, which is usually bees wax, and there lies the rub. Bees wax can get messy and might not be extremely pretty as the bucket ages. However with bees wax the price could be affordable to every family and hovel.
