For those too young to know, and/or were never taught what a traitorous white Jane Fonda is, let me recap just a couple of her deeds while she protested the war in Vietnam. Besides her vocal stateside comments and appearances, Hanoi Jane flew to Vietnam and was filmed and photographed to be be replayed in the U.S. showing how evil we, the United States, was against the poor Vietnamese. Some of the pictures released along with film tell was of her posing with enemy combat troops in anti-aircraft sites, sitting in the gunners seat pretending to shoot down an American plane. While visiting the Hanoi Hilton, the most notorious POW camp in Nam, camp prisoners (thinking that she was acting and she was really on our side) slipped her notes to take home, describing the torture and conditions of confinement they had suffered. Jane, ever the Patriot, waited until she had shaken the hand of each man, received a note from each man, then promptly gave these to the warden causing each of the prisoners to be severely beaten, tortured, starved and otherwise mistreated. Then, before coming home, Hanoi Jane went onto the radio station in Vietnam and profusely thanked the proud and just people of North Vietnam for their hospitality while condemning the U.S. and verbally abusing all American service members in country. Hanoi Jane has never been charged for the crimes of Treason or Sedition, both of which she openly committed. Nor has she ever apologised, though she mumbled a few words about 40 uterus too late that she claims was not an apology but an explanation of her actions, which to this day she still feels were justified. If shes so proud to be Hanoi Jane, let her go live in Hanoi.
