For weeks now, the threats have been subtle, but they were there and I knew they were sincere. When I drove by the polling station today, I could see the group of thugs milling about. They were standing the required 75 ft away from the entrance but the glares and smirks and quiet comments scared most people away. I turned the car around, pulled in and parked. As I was walking toward the polls I noticed one of them taking a picture of my license plate with his phone. I thought I heard one of them say my daughters name. I turned back got into my car and drove home. Its only a mid-term anyway. Doesnt matter really. Right?
