For whatever this is worth…Its been a year this month since I started getting sick, progressively sicker and then the sickest I have ever been…1 Brain MRI, a 20 lb. weight loss, horrible fatigue, a 3 week stay in bed due to vertigo, slurred speech, brain fog, nausea, migraines, one trip to the ER for morphine for a migraine (one of the many migraines I have had), 2 ENT specialists, 3 neurologists, 3 neuroradiologists, 1 acupuncturist, 2 General Practitioners, a lot of different antibiotics and medicines, and many misdiagnoses and partially correct diagnoses, its great to finally have a proper and correct diagnosis and feel like my old self…It was a really rough road and a tough tough year…but 3 months ago I finally got diagnosed with fibromyalgia…not fun having an autoimmune disease, but I am grateful to finally feel 95% back to normal…I am thankful to eastern and western medicine…most of all I am thankful to my family for their support through all of this and incredibly grateful to several friends who kept an eye on me and were so helpful and supportive through all of this…Thank you Ali Dickson Gray, Alan M Thornton, Simon J Smith-Hutchon, Bobbi Lane, Giles Keyte, April Anderson and Michele Echols… I am back to shooting with only some minor aches and fatigue now…but I think that is just a part of getting old, which I will happily take and embrace…2014 may have started back in January, but for me this new year stars now…xo n
