For years (literally) I have sat idly by and watched as our metropolitan Detroit freeway system has gone to crap: no working nighttime street lights, graffiti, mounds of trash everywhere, an unprecedented amount of potholes, broken signage, crumbling bridges & completely outdated infrastructure. I have traveled this nation extensively and have never seen anything like it. The bottom line is there is NO EXCUSE. It is time we hold our state government and MDOT accountable. This nonsense has to stop!
