For years, we have been told that Obama would end Guantanamo prison, that he would prevent further police brutality, see that we all got jobs, empty the prisons, make the government deal with poverty, and other social issues. Well, he has done none of this, and does not intend to do so, yet Black people continue to fawn over him as though a Black president in office alone will feed their children, protect their people, or ensure their human rights. Instead he has served the empire by starting foreign wars, put even more in prison, refused to prosecute racist cops for murder, and ignored our human rights, and has set up more of a fascist police state than George Bush 2. We must end our faith in him and all support of politicians, we have to dismantle this state.
