For you on the Harrison side of the family, Don, Rex Harrison & I have traced the family back to 1821 in Alabama where John Harrison from NC married Mary Polly Wasden of Ga. Among his children was James Edmond Harrison, married Fanny Grimes & had two children before she died in 1849 (John & Elizabeth). He married a Martha Prescott & our gg grandfather James Edmon was born in 1854. Martha died & James married twice more before he died.. Among James Children was Grandpa John Edward (bn 1884). They moved to Texas in 1888 to settle near Fairfield, Texas. Because information prior to the 1800s is so difficult to trace, Don sent his DNA in to be tested & we are waiting to find out how our family ties into other Harrisons. Ill fill you in on the Guess side later.
