#ForCampaigningWhileNigeriaMourns# “I think going to Kano was a statement, a loud statement that terrorism will not stop the administration of this country”.-Labaran Maku,Nigerias Information Minister. When Shina Peter sang..dance, dance and forget your sorrow he didnt know it would become an advice a president would take several years after. -Mike Asukwo 2014 MY TAKE: Labaran , as spokesman of this government need not overheat the polity through his maladroit and klutzy utterances. He should always find words that would ensure Nigerians believe in the policies and programmes of this administration. Information dissemination to the populace as regards government activities and Mr Presidents actions or inactions form part of how they impact negatively or positively on the lives of the people, and the onus lies on him as the government mouthpiece to do so with his head on his shoulders...the other day it was Olisa Metuh and now its Maku. God, cant these characters keep quite for once? The numbskull should know that, even my six year old knows that, going to Kano for a political rally to dance is NOT a part of governance #shame#
