Ford Mondeo 2.0TDCi Customer got in touch with us enquiring about one of our Stage 1 remaps and wanted to know what other functions we could add onto the map, as he had read and heard of all sorts of problems with DPF filters getting blocked and EGR valves getting stuck, so we explained how everything worked and he was happy to book the car in with us the following week. Customer came in and we proceeded with checking the car over and started with extracting the stock file to be sent off while we removed the exhaust section with the DPF to remove the internals and blank the EGR valve. File came back and following functions was flashed into the ECU: Custom Stage 1 Remap DPF Delete Function EGR Delete Function The customer decided to have all these functions as he wanted to be able to keep the car for a extended number of years without having to worry about certain components failing and costing him thousands of pounds to repair in the long run. Estimated Power Gains: 140 to 168 Bhp 320 to 380 Nm Customer drove the car and was very happy with the extra power, improved MPG and knowing that the DPF+EGR would never give him any troubles.
