Forecast Update Areas of rain are building across the southeast and as forecast earlier, tonight looks to be when the Southern Downs may see some heavier falls. Today has not delivered quite as much as expected and I am going to revise my expected falls total down to 20mm. Some areas between Goondiwindi and Inglewood may pick up double that amount as heavy rain is expected along with the chance of a thunder storm. There is also a chance of a storm for the eastern Downs as the low moves through overnight but i do not expect as much as western regions. The rain should clear by early morning with blue skys forecast for the afternoon although there may be some patchy cloud still around.
