Forgot my pass when I went into work today. Standing in line, before me, was a Chinese food delivery man. The security guy was trying to call the person who ordered the food, to validate security. The delivery guy said he had to go back to his car as it was illegally parked. Im now with security, waiting for him to validate and give me a temporary pass. Elevator door opens and guy with a shiny suit walks directly to me. Shiny suit guy (VISA in hand): Do you take VISA? Me looking a little stunned and pissed. I turn and look at him. Shiny Suit guy (shows his VISA again and says exaggeratedly slowly): Dooo youuuuu taaaake VIIIISAAAA? Me: No SSG (looks at security guy): Hmm, youd think they would catch up to 21st Century technology. SSG turns to me: OK, I have cash upstairs. Bring the food up please. Security Guy looks at me sympathetically. With a wry smile, he looks at the security guy who is now waiting in the elevator for me. He says to SSG, He is not the delivery man. He works here.. Pointing out the glass doors, There is your delivery guy.
