Forgotten Felines, Inc. doesnt operate the way any other group operates. The truth is, rescuing cats isnt always as easy as simply TNRing them or taking them in and finding homes for them. As most of our foster moms have been rescuing for 15+ years, we have a vested interest in our babies. You wont find that any of our babies have spent any less than one month in our care. You may wonder why that is. Well, we want to make sure that we know our kitties as well as possible. That means that we can tell you as much as possible about your future kitty before you take it home. We want to make sure that the kitty is a good match for you and vice versa. We also want to make sure that you have the best chance of a successful relationship/life with your new kitty as possible. We love and adore all of our cats and kittens and only want whats best for them. That being said, youll sometimes find that we may suggest you adopt another kitty rather than the one youre interested in. This is almost NEVER because we think you, the potential future human of said kitty, are a bad person or a bad home. This is because we know our kitties so well that we know whether or not theyll be a good fit for certain home environments. Many often ask if our cats are good with children or dogs. While some ARE good with dogs, we cant vouch whether a kitty will be good with children. Most of our kitties are raised in homes without children, but with proper introduction and acclimation time will do fabulous with children. Please know that our first priority is to find the best home for each cat and that well do whatever we think is necessary for each cat.
