Former CAL Chairman soon to be new HDC Chairman (By TTnewsflash Reporter) FORMER Caribbean Airlines Chairman, Rabindra Moonan is expected to take up his post as Chairman of the Housing Development Corporation soon. Moonan declined to be recorded but claimed that he is yet to meet with Housing Minister Dr. Roodal Moonilal and board members for a briefing. Moonan claimed, however, after he has been given his instruments of appointment he would speak to the media. During cross talk between Opposition Leader Dr. Keith Rowley and Moonilal at Wednesday’s Financial (Supplementary Appropriation) debate it was revealed that Moonan, has been named the new chairman of HDC. During Rowley’s contribution to the debate, he “dared” Moonilal to appoint “the failed chairman” to the HDC at which point Moonilal replied he had already appointed Moonan.
