Former Marine and Country Artist Josh Gracin Participates in Fenton Wounded Warrior Football Game FENTON, MI (Oct. 8, 2013) A new single, a busy tour and the quickly approaching release of his latest EP have kept Josh Gracin on the road and all over the country the past few months. But an upcoming stop in Fenton, Michigan has personal significance for this country star and former U.S. Marine. Josh Gracin will sing the National Anthem on Friday, October 11th at a very special football game hosted at Fenton High School to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. In addition to singing, Gracin will also act as honorary captain, participating in the coin toss and cheering on the home team from the sidelines. “I think it is amazing that these young players come together for such a worthy cause,” said Gracin. “Not only are they raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project, but they are also showing real respect and gratitude for the men and women who serve our country and protect our freedom.” After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps, Josh began to focus on his music and quickly built a successful career, but he has never forgotten his time in the service. Appearances like this hold a special place in his heart. In previous years, the annual Fenton Wounded Warrior Football Game has raised upwards of $30,000 to help ease the financial burdens that many military families face. Gracin’s presence and participation is expected to draw an even larger crowd and more media attention.
