Forte and Andrea Bocelli Gauteng Opera will present a dinner concert at Laughing Chefs on 22 August 2014. An evening where patrons and guests can indulge in the soothing sounds of Forté with a programme consisting of legendary music by Andrea Bocelli pieces such as A time to say goodbye, The Prayer and Because we believe while enjoying a three course dinner, is unsurpassed quality in itself. This is the FIRST OF FIVE themed dinner concerts for 2014 at the Laughing Chefs Restaurant, Tapas Bar & Venue; future performances are scheduled to take place in September, October, November and December. Each concert will be themed and audience members or patrons are welcome to dress for the occasion. A lovely prize will be won on the evening. The MENU for this dinner concert will consist of the starter; soup of the day with fresh bread roll, followed by Italian Osso Buco with stuffed carrots, on home-made linguini as the main and certainly not the least, dessert will be white chocolate Panna Cotta with a berry coulis and caramel shards. Laughing Chefs donates all the profits generated from this evening to Gauteng Opera for further development of the artists. Performing on the night are Gauteng Opera soloists: Forté -Khumbuzile Dhlamini (Soprano), Annemarie Steenkamp (mezzo-soprano), Phenye Modiane (tenor), Kagiso Boroko (tenor), Thabang Edward Phiri (Baritone). — with Annemarie Steenkamp, Khumbuzile Dhlamini, Phenye Modiane and Kagiso Boroko.
