Fortunately, only a small group of upperclassmen attended tonight, which made the lecture more like a seminar. The orator, Jason, who brought us the fabulous lesson, graduated from UCL Bartlett, worked in London AA School for years, and have taught and travelled around United States. This experienced man showed his concentration on practical issue and exerted himself to explain his theory in combining designing with engineering. He stressed a great number of irrational problems happened in daily life during introducing his researches in American architectural evolution in past few decades. Our associate professor Karen was sitting among us, and finally put series of profound questions to the speaker after he had finished, then fellow students began to illustrate their own perspectives one by one. I recognized this part as the most valuable discussion, since I caught lots of information. However, I considered too much about my pronunciation, or I would be confident to speak out my doubts then and there. These two hours were truly worth, the proof pictures collected and selected by Jason, might be helpful to me when I am going to concern about the all-sided design in the future.
