A really great perspective of an argument against the Big Bang Theory From the Wikipedia entry for Big Bang theory: At this time, the universe was in an extremely hot dense state and began expanding rapidly. Look, your explanation of how the universe began cannot start with the universe already existing. Thats no trick at all: If you let me start with all the matter and energy in the universe, then I can explain the rest. Yeah, well, if you let me start with God already existing, I can explain everything including the Big Bang. If Im not allowed to start with God (where did God come from) then the atheist is not allowed to start with pre-existing matter and energy. Fair is fair.
