Found this very interesting. Not many people know this but I met Alice Cooper when he was in Charleston, probably 1986-87. I worked at Sport Mart and he came in during the morning shift. I was a Shoe Dog but it was also my job to watch the Golf department too. He came in that morning looking for a two wood. We had a long conversation probably 45 minutes, about golf, local courses and other things. I kept it low key not bringing attention to the fact of who he was and at that time the store was pretty much empty. Working at the Town Center at that time the stores were slow most mornings. I met many stars, Sugar Ray Leonard, Metallica, and pro athletes. Alice Cooper was the most down to earth I ever met. I even bet on that day I had WJYP (the local Christian station) playing over the speakers. I was notorious for changing over to it. So glad he has made the move to a professing Christian.
