Four thirty in the morning. Getting ready to get ready for todays segment. The anchorage is peaceful with only us and the boat pictured in the last post. We are anchored in 20 feet of water with 140 feet of chain. The current is whipping past us. Can hear water gurgling off the anchor chain and our dinghy tied off the stern is creating a wake. Large rafts of floating plants akin to water lilies, some as large as the dinghy, are streaming past us, headed downriver. The only concern is that the anchor is not fouled on a snag. If it is, well have a hard time retrieving it.
