Four weeks from today, I will be having surgery to remove polyps from my vocal cords which have prevented me from singing for the last year or so. Its pretty exciting, but also pretty intimidating. I cant talk or use my voice at all for an entire week after my surgery, and even after that I have to gradually build up to normal voice use over a period of time. Theres also no promise my voice will be what it was before, but it will at least be better than it is now. Hopefully by January Ill be singing and I can start working on a setlist for my barber shop quartet with Will Zapp and Travis Baker. (Im only halfway kidding...we should do that.) I cant wait to (hopefully) have my voice back again.
