Four years ago I moved to Wilmington making minimum wage. I ate off patio furniture cause I couldnt afford dining room furniture, and my television was older than heavier than I was. I refused to settle for less than what my son and I deserved and started to grind and work as hard as possible. I went from Clinique to Christian Dior to Forever 21 hungry for a new challenge and growth. Today, a life changing promotion went through for me. Less than 18 months with Forever 21, two promotions later, and I am the Store Manager of a brand new, 17,000 square foot, $5 million store. Thank you to my parents and my Forever family for the support and confidence, and an even larger thank you to all the people through the years who thought I deserved less. CHEERS!
