Fr Frank Bwalya’s Humiliation Ours is not to interpret why - TopicsExpress

Fr Frank Bwalya’s Humiliation Ours is not to interpret why Frank Bwalya is going against the same party he put into Government, ours is to simply side with him when it comes to violation of his rights. We are not an exception to the violation of rights by the PF, this is why we find it appropriate to sympathise with Frank Bwalya. We condemn in the strongest words the methods being used by PF to address those with divergent views. For us Frank Bwalya is an eloquent speaker, who is not provocative. Frank Bwalya speaks to issues, and as a clergy man or former clergy man however one wants to label him, we believe that he stands for the truth. Like his counterpart Gabriel Mwanamwalye observes, there is nothing sinister about a catholic priest being in a politics. Jean Betrand Aristide the former Leader of Haiti was a former priest. There is therefore nothing sinister about Frank Bwalya being in full time politics as long as his church has accepted this position and he and the church are at peace with each other. The anger expressed by Kambwili the day Frank Bwalya appeared on Let the People Talk, says one thing; that the PF is behind this pursuit of violence that is why their leaders are the last to condemn these barbaric acts. Well for us we would like to state that we condemn violence and it’s off shoots irrespective of who is perpetrating this violence. For us this shows that people cannot reason, thus taking violence as a way of resolving their differences. The PF have several mouth pieces including the once independent Post Newspaper, why can’t they counter Frank Bwalya in their newspapers. Let us fight to maintain peace and not the other way round PF. Today it will be Frank Bwalya tomorrow it will be someone else, please let us preach peace and co-existence wherever we are.
