Frank Frazetta. Weve talked about his work before, but I wanted to share it again in this little gallery. I grew up with this image of female beauty (cuz my brother was a fantasy geek & an artist). Frazettas women are strong, muscular, but they are also soft and curvy. Their bellies are (often, not always) a little round and soft. Some of them look like theyve had babies. They have full bottoms, fleshy thighs, and full breasts that interact with gravity in believable ways. This, to me, remains the ideal in womanly beauty. And its achievable. I like to come back & look at Frazettas work whenever Ive seen too many size 0 celebs with fake boobs. If youd like to cleanse your palette every now and again, too, feel free to join me!
