Freds Final Fling was one of four prime-time FLINTSTONES TV specials that aired on NBC. Bob Ogle wrote the script, which was a re-write of an episode of the original FLINTSTONES series, which in itself was a swipe from an episode of the series that provided the basis for THE FLINTSTONES in general, THE HONEYMOONERS. Floyd Norman and I were the layout supervisors on the show (I recall that the late, great cartoonist Owen Fitzgerald drew the layouts for that roller disco sequence), Gary Hoffman designed the backgrounds and working freelance, I designed all of the characters, costumes, critters, props and vehicles specific to this show; a lot of those held images that slide through the musical sequence are my drawings.
