Free Range? Grass Fed? What? Just when people were starting to get a handle on nutrient content claims such as low fat, low sodium, healthy and light; food manufacturers are introducing a new set of food related terms. Some of these are actually meaningful distinctions that relate to the health of our food or the method they were raised, packaged or transported and others have no basis in law, and at least one, wins the award for pure bunk.
