Places available next week, 3rd & 4th July: Would you like to learn how to help yourself, your family and members of your community by being able to recognise the early signs and symptoms of cancer? • To register please call by Tuesday 1st July on 01582 548 772 or email [email protected]. On a two-day Macmillan training course here in Luton, volunteers learn: • The major signs and symptoms of cancer • That ‘cancer caught early can be cured’ and the importance of seeking help early • What people can expect from cancer treatment • Understanding and sensitively challenging personal, social and cultural barriers to seeking medical help No special knowledge is needed – it is for all members of the community! Next training is 3rd 4th July 2014 and TOKKO in central Luton. It is approximately 10am to 4pm both days and lunch, tea, coffee etcetera are all provided. What are we asking in return? That you share your knowledge as widely as you can via friends, family and perhaps community groups in which you are involved. We will give you full support to do this. Message me with any queries.
