Freedom of Religion or Forcing One’s Opinion? I have got to say that I am sick and tired of others saying that they are sick and tired of my religious believes and practices. Please tell me who are the ones that are truly being intolerable when it comes to one’s belief system? I will always speak up and speak out when asked about my beliefs, but I have never forced them upon anybody and yet I am constantly being pushed to lay them aside in the name of “tolerance!” So please tell me, who is really the one’s that have become intolerable to the beliefs of others? It is sad to me that others don’t see through the fog and the real problem before us, the problem is that we are being forced to lay down our own beliefs to accept another. This to me is really no different that when one likes to tell me “the Bible says do not to judge” (Mt. 7:1) and that I should not judge them. The funny thing is that they just made a “judgement” that I was judging them! The truth is that they should simply keep reading (Mt. 7:1-5) Jesus is teaching us here to use “righteous” judgement and not any judgement at all! (Cf. Jn. 7:24) Our lives consist of nothing other than judgements! What we will wear, how we will behave, where we will go and on and on! Don’t allow others to force their opinion on you, but rather take time to think for yourself!
