His tenure as head of state showed that he punished corrupt persons, irrespective of their tribe or religion. There are many examples of Buhari’s unbiased approach to leadership. It is literally impossible to find a Nigerian who has been a Governor, Minister, Head of State and Head of a Govt agency at different times, without a single proven allegation of corruption against him. 2. Restoration of Security: Our dear nation is plagued by the worst state of insecurity, since the civil war. Swathes of Nigerian territory have been taken over by terrorists. Buhari is the credible option for putting an end to this, especially with his military background. He has done it before, he can do it again! 3. Experience: Buhari has been governor of North-eastern region (presently spanning 6 states), Minister for Petroleum, Head of State and Chairman of the PTF. He comes with a lot experience and history to put in place the practical solutions needed to get Nigeria back on track. 4. Infrastructure: Buhari has a legacy of infrastructure. He masterminded and spearheaded the building of the existing refineries in the country, 20 oil depots and over 3,200km of pipelines. His record of building roads, schools and hospitals under the PTF remains indelible in Nigeria’s history. Note that the bane of infrastructure in corruption. Considering that under Buhari, infrastructure development would not have to contend with corruption, it then follows that Nigerians should expect massive and speedy infrastructure development under Buhari. 5.
