Fresh Dynamics Indonesia is now looking for an Office Manager VegIMPACT support office (Full time, Indonesian Nationality) Tasks of the Office Manager: a. Daily office management and administration, including financial administration. b. Assisting the manager of the Veg-IMPACT support office in Indonesia in her tasks c. Planning and organisation of meetings, including minutes taking and follow up agendas. d. Liasons with and supporting of national and international veg-IMPACT staff including travel arrangements (hotel, transport). e. Management of veg-IMPACT website and databases (Contacts, products, literature) f. Supporting the project manager with communication and promotional activities g. Organisation of training/coaching/ demonstration activities of the Veg-IMPACT project in collaboration with national and international experts h. Translation of documents from Bahasa Indonesia into English and English into Bahasa. i. Desktop research of markets, products market partners, as well as trends and developments in the agri sector j. Organise and conduct (telephone) surveys and interviews k. Backstopping and supporting supply chain facilitators Requested Expertise (Office Manager): Degree in marketing, accountancy, economy, agribusiness or equivalent level. Candidates with secretarial diploma with extensive experience are also invited to apply. Some years of practical experience in all aspects of office management Book keeping and computer skills Required Skills (Office Manager): Project and Office Management skills, in particular experience of administrative and financial programs. Accurate, well organised, service oriented, diligent, positive, enthusiastic attitude. About Fresh Dynamics Indonesia and the VegIMPACT program The vegIMPACT program is an initiative of Wageningen University and Research Centre from the Netherlands, the Royal Dutch Embassy in Jakarta and Indonesian partners such as Fresh Dynamics Indonesia, the Indonesian institute for Vegetables Research (Balitsa), and the Directorate General Horticultural Production. The objectives of this four year program are: (1) to improve Vegetable Production and Marketing for small farmers; (2) to increase the Food Security status and (3) to promote Private Sector Development in Indonesia. The vegIMPACT program builds on the results of previous Indonesian-Dutch horticultural development projects as well as farmers’ training. Tangible results of these projects were: increased profitability of vegetable production at farmer’s level, improved product quality, better food safety and less emission of agro-chemicals. For this new program extensive Monitoring Evaluation activities will be implemented to measure the results of the program with the different stakeholders (mainly farmers).
