“Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.” Psalms 37: 1. All Christians in America should read the entire 37th Psalm within the next week. Also read, John 14:1, “Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe I God, believe also in me.” Worry, fear, and anxiety are seducing emotions and spirits that are enemies to faith. In today’s culture, we must keep our eyes on the prize and work to advance the kingdom of God on earth. Our government gives us every reason to disobey these scriptures. President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder are on a campaign to destroy our constitutional republican form of government. This mission has now gone far beyond politics and ideological warfare. In speech after speech, Obama reveals his disdain for our constitution. He announces his intentions of going around congress to impose his ideas. He charges all who oppose him as obstructionist. He selectively enforces the laws of the land through the attorney general, and outright defies Supreme Court decisions, and has openly castigated the Court for decisions that he mischaracterized in a state-of-the-union address. He appoints Czars to carry out his intentions, and issues Executive Orders to circumvent the will of the people. He would be guilty of jury tampering in a civilian setting when he and Senator Patrick Layhe of Vermont pressured the chief justice to uphold Obamacare. His code word for support of gay marriage is used continually in speech after speech. His attack upon Christians and all who believe in our God is visible everywhere. He uses every opportunity to attack the 2nd amendment, and works relentlessly to disarm America. His contempt for capitalism and free enterprise is worn as an outer garment in his public appearances. His defense and sympathy with Islam is very clear. For people like me and you, he has nothing but disdain and disgust. In short, he gives us plenty to be outraged about; but wait, listen to this: “I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not. I sought him, but he could not be found.” Psalms 37: 35, 36. Obama’s time is short, and he knows it. Praying, believing, sacrificing Christians have demanded and received God’s attention. At the beginning of 2013, I asked God for 100,000 prophets and prophetesses to be raised up for a national spiritual awakening, a revival of biblical Christianity. I think that number is going to be multiplied. God’s people must not give up; we cannot live in fear, anxiety, and unbelief. Let God be true, and every man a liar. A mighty Holy Spirit driven, soul saving, righteousness exalting, sin-destroying, Christ exalting revival is taking place right now in America. Get in it; be a part of it, join it, right where you are. Start today, trusting God as never before, and working as never before to return America to a Christian consensus.
