Friday 22nd August is former Avengers Star, Honor Blackmans birthday and as she was born way back in 1925 I thought that it was only fitting that we play her ONLY chart entry which was in fact, a duet with co-star Patrick Macnee. The music was created for the satirical UK TV show That Was The Week That Was but the lyrics were added in 1964 and released on the Decca Label. The song was not initially a hit, but a 1990 re-release reached the British singles in December which is when all Brits expect something unusual to dominate the charts. Promoted by BBC Radio One DJ Simon Mayo. The single peaked at No.5 (on Deram records label KINKY 1) and remained on the chart for seven weeks.
