Friday, Aug 23- “The power of Love-controlled compassion”, v.9-10 1Cor 13:9-10 “9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.” In v.9 Paul tells us that compassion is Love-controlled perfection at work IN us, in order that it can be seen UPON us. Let me show you this amazing INSIDE JOB of Love. Paul uses the word “part” 3 times in these 2 verses. The opposite of something that is partial is that it is complete and whole. He is showing us that only Love-compassion can paint the picture of Jesus’ “wholeness” upon the canvas of our hearts. Remember when Jesus declared, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him” (John 14:21)? Love-controlled compassion allows His manifestations in our lives to be unlimited! It is through Love-compassion that we allow the Holy Spirit to give to us “the whole counsel of God”. Look at what Paul declared, “For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.” (Acts 20:27). It is through Love-compassion that the Holy Spirit starts to eliminate the pieces of religious-inadequacies from your heart, causing them to cease being a factor to you. Only then, can He start to give you His complete package of His Redemptive plan. As the “perfected” Love-fruit of compassion takes over your life, He will manifest His complete counsel to you, because He can now trust you to serve others with that same information. This is communicating God’s Truth in Love and it is through this, that great growth occurs in your life and in the lives of others that you come in contact with. Allow His Love to continually call the shots in your life, especially in your relationships with one another and you will be a great part of the SOLUTION to the world’s problems and no longer part of its problem. powerinthebloodministries
