Friday, June 27, 6 p.m. RAPIDS RIVER DAYS PARADE is one of the area’s grandest parades showcasing 12-15 marching bands in competition from across the state! Line up begins at 5:00 p.m. along 11th Street North and the parade starts at 6:00 p.m. sharp. Entry fees are $100 per business/political unit, $50 per non-profit unit, $20 per dignitary/visiting royalty unit, and free for service/colorguard units. The parade route runs along Sixth Avenue from Pleasantview Elementary School to the SR-R Middle School. Enjoy an evening filled with music, colorful floats, royalty, community representatives, entertainers, candy treats, and friendly smiles for all ages. Be sure to save yourself a spot early in the day!
