Friday, March 07, 2014 my status this morning is that of grandfather. I have two of my grandkids with me and an electrician coming at 8:30 to give me a look and estimate on what it will take to rewire this place the way it should be. I am spending my days assembling, cleaning and repairing turkey hunting equipment. Believe me it isn’t too early. My congratulations go out to two friends and fellow writers. Brent Frazee, long time outdoors writer for the Kansas City Start was named by the Kansas Outdoor Federations as their Communicator of the Year and David Zumbaugh conservation contributor to the American Waterfowler has been elected as a board member for the KWF. Both men are long time advocates of the sportsman and well deserving of their honors. Make a great weekend.
