Friday, November 8th, 2013 -Another short day, who’s to complain, not this girl -Quick Chapter 13 quiz, group discussion -as a class/individual/partner work we would look up the answers to any questions we didnt know the answer to. -afterward we discussed each question, and the answer to the question, giving reason as to why it was that answer -MOVIE TIME!!!! -We watched the rain-forest in Costa Rica - in Costa Rica there is one out of twenty-five species can be found here, over 800 species of birds, and about 600 species of trees. It has the highest deforestation rate in the western hemisphere - Laws have been put into place to stop the deforestation - As of today Costa Rica is trying a new thing called Eco-tourism of nature travel, encouraging tourist to come the island, in turn this helps to preserve the rain forest
