Friday, October 24, 2014 FEAR “The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning (the chief and choice part) of Wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight and understanding.” – Proverbs 9:10 (AMP) In this context the implied meaning of the word “fear” is closer to respect than it is to fright. Right now, today I have the latter meaning of fear running through my veins. It isn’t a nice feeling but it is undeniable. I am fearful for my agency’s lack of “fear”, or better stated I am afraid that my agency has no respect for man or for God. ABSOLUTELY NONE. So undeniable is this that it makes me sick to my stomach. I have proof that the VBA has lied, in writing; to a US Senator’s office which is inquiring of the delays and inadequacies in their decisions on my disability claim. Straight up, bald faced, fat mouthed lies. This decision is wrapped up in a conglomeration of so much double talk and meaningless jargon that it would make any cell phone company proud if they could write it onto a billing statement. I KNOW FOR A FACT: If it is happening to me, it is happening to thousands and thousands of Veterans. This is a disgrace to our nation and it is pathetic treatment of our American Veterans. I told the Senator’s office on the phone and in a message, if they’ll lie to you, what chance do I have? How can I believe anything they say? I told the Senator’s representative: “I work for them; I know how they lie.” It leaves me with a hole inside, this empty hollow feeling that my soul begs for God to fill. I have nowhere to turn and no one to turn to, only God. He is my Refuge and my High Tower. “But I will sing of Your mighty strength and power; yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy and loving-kindness in the morning; for You have been to me a defense (a fortress and a high tower) and a refuge in the day of my distress.” – Psalm 59:16 (AMP) youtube/watch?v=fdZpskLmhfg
