Friday, for the first time in my life (sad to admit this was the first time), I participated in a peaceful protest rally in Houston, in support of the victims of genocide in Gaza. I cannot express how wonderful it was to see the show of support...thousands of people of all walks of life and countless ethnicities turned out at the Houston Galleria...and made their voices heard. I am so glad I went...and I will keep speaking out about human rights abuses in all parts of the world...relentlessly...this is something I can do to raise awareness. I am so blessed with good fortune and the fact that I was born in the United States, one of the few places on earth where one CAN say what one thinks (even if our news media is totally screwed up).
