Friday naseeha It has been narrated that one day Ali Ibn Abu Talib (RA) stopped his ride near the door of the Masjid to pray. He found a man standing near the masjid, he asked to take care of the ride and the saddle. The man wrongfully wished for the saddle and stole it then sold it in the Market . When Ali (RA) finished praying he didn’t find the man nor the saddle! So he went to the market to buy another saddle. He was surprised to find his saddle there. He asked the seller:- How much does it cost? The Seller replied :- 10 dirhams He asked the Seller - How much does the owner sell it to you? The Seller replied:- 5 dirhams Ali Ibn Talib bought his Saddle and then said:- SubhanaAllaah, I had the intention to give him 5 dirhams for being trustworthy, but he stole it and sold it . If he didn’t hasten to get his Rizk (provision) with haraam he would have got it in Halaal. This is the reality, Allah azawajal has decreed for us everything in this life whether it is wealth, health, respect... You name it Allah had already assigned it to you. However you determine how you earn it, whether itll be earned alongside the pleasure of Allah or will it be earned along with the anger of Allah. May Allah make us amongst those who seek only halal means. Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) reported: I was behind the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasalaam) when he said: Oh young man, I will teach you some words. Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you. If you ask, ask of Allah; if you seek help, seek help of Allah. Know that if the whole community were to gather together to benefit you with anything, it would benefit you only with something that Allah had already prescribed for you, and that if they were to gather together to harm you with anything, they would harm you only with something Allah had already prescribed for you.
