Friday short list: 1. Men, just because they MAKE skinny pants, doesnt mean you have to buy them or wear them. Its really not attractive... 2. Dear LeBron James, I do not care where you play basketball. I wish the rest of the country would join me. BTW, NEWS media...this is NOT news. 3. World Cup Soccer, hours of my life Ill never get back. Honestly, its like watching golf on TV. Good napping sport though. 4. Havens birthday party is today and shes requested we all call her party girl for the rest of the day. Whatever trips your trigger... 5. Sleep habits of an old lady are falling asleep at 7:30, waking at 3:30 and trying to figure out how you got into this routine. 6. Emmy stuff... The Walking Dead is the highest rated, most watched show on TV and no Emmy noms for ANY actor or the show itself? Thats just wrong... 11. Dear Kardashians and Kayne, you are walking, breathing proof that money cant buy class. Im tired of seeing your mugs on every website or news page. Please go away... 12. I got a new car. In fact, I got my dream car. Im very excited and my family loves it. I do not feel the need to justify my purchases to anyone. I work hard and do not take handouts. Until I ask you to make a car payment, your response should be thats wonderful, Im very happy for you. 13. Saw my first back to school commercial this week. The girls were equally as upset seeing it as I was excited. The short summer is the price for all of those snow days. Soak it up while you can!! 14. Kids birthday parties are great. They are so excited and anxious. Why does it have to be so stressful for the parents? I want to have fun too!!!! 15. Dear Washington DC, I dont care what party youre with or where you sit, pull your heads out of your hinney and start working for the voters who put you there. That includes the guy in the big house and those at the Capital building. Theres more whining and complaining in DC that a tired toddler at an amusement park. Stop.It. Actions speak louder than words, start getting some action going... 16. Apparently my lack of quality sleep is impacting my lists.
