Friday we had a Seasonal dinner. Good company, good food and good drinks. We were 11 - Milo, Marina, Norah, Cole, Tamara, Jon, Claire, Kim, Andrew, Marc and me. Lasagna (green, white and red - the seasonal colours), home made baked beans, apple crisp, biscuits and cheese (aged cheddar, Oka, Mme. Laurier and Gouda kees). For drinks we had good old Sooke Hills water, Creepy Uncle Dunkel beer, Hoyne Pilsner, and two Argentine red wines - La Finca and La Posta. The Sooke water has to be the best deal - about 1.40$ for one cubic metre (1000 litres) right out of the tap against bottled water at 2.50$ for one litre.
