Friendly advice anyone? I am going to have some upcoming testing (genetic) to see which type of Morquio Syndrome I have. If I have 1 of 2 different types I will be eligible for treatment. The treatment would be a 4-5 hour IV treatment every week for the rest of my life. Eventually, there would be a chance I could have the treatment at home. BENEFITS? It would help my organs to process waste material that my body stores bc I cant get rid of that waste on my own. It will also increase my endurance by a substantial amount. Would you do it if given the opportunity? My personal thought is that im afraid if I dont do it now, 20-30 years from i will have an organ failing and gind out it could have been prevented with this treatment but too late.
