Friends, Family, Followers, Strangers. For God So Loved The Ministries is an orphanage in Haiti that I have been supporting for about a year now. They have VERY minimal support and are unfortunately in a really tight place right now. ((that whole when it rains it pours thing..happens in Haiti too apparently) They have recently lost their vehicle, their well, fallen back 3 months on rent due to the children coming down with chickengunya fever, and another child becoming very ill with what they thought was tuberculosis. school season starts soon and without $3500 none of these beautiful children will be able to attend school. I cant explain to you why I feel its necesary for me to be their voice, but I cannot deny it. IT is easy to feel like things that we cannot see, feel or even imagine are not OUR problems to fix, but here I see a wonderful American couple who uprooted and moved to Haiti to help the poor and powerless youth and they are just meeting hardship after hardship. If we were able to come together as a comunity and raise $12,000 for them, they wouldbe able to pay back rent, get their well fixed, get a vehicle again, and send their children to school - to give them a hope of a future. we are fortunate. to live where we do- to have $5 to spend on a latte every day, or $100 a month for cable- if we all came together and gave a litte, we could change the future for this orphanage, restore their hope and give these beautiful children a future. dont turn a blindeye. please find it in your heart to donate- no matter HOW big or small. and SHARE this please. with hope that we can make a difference, Joanie Tabasso
