Friends, I have been offered by VSO my next placement as Medical officer in a very remote area in Zambia.. for 2 years.. Departure date.. March 4th...I am not sure if I should take it up. Its purely clinical.... around 500 opd pts in a day, male female & children ward with Malaria, Malnutrtion, AIDS, TB, Pregnancy complication cases etc. Might have to do Emergency Cesareans....! will probably be the only doctor there with nursing support - probably on call 24>
