Friends, Thank you so much for the birthday wishes today! Last night Wendell asked me what I miss here in Honduras. I said, friends... and a good cup of coffee wouldnt hurt. :) This morning he had a coffeepot with brewed coffee on the counter at 5am (typical wake time here) and just now I was able to connect to the internet for the first time from our neighbors porch and receive your friendship over the miles. Thank you! We have a lovely home here and are slowly settling in. I have felt lonely and a bit overwhelmed at times (as does anyone who moves) but Jesus keeps encouraging me each morning for which Im so grateful! Wendell is thriving and the kids are doing well. Today is a big shopping trip with all the teachers into Tegucigalpa for household supplies and groceries, our 4 kids along as helpers. Will be good day. Thanks for being part of the good start!
