Friends, The sermon that PP preached today convicted me big time. For those of you who are new to our ministry, PP has been using the last twelve weeks or so, preaching on how to become influential Christian leaders whom God can use to draw us into his kingdom. In his concluding message on the series Arise to Lead, he stressed the importance of our LORD Jesus Christ. He pointed out that if we have all the skills that are necessary to become good leaders, like humility, the ability to work in teams, holiness, and defeating discouragement, but if we do not point to Jesus Christ with our actions, then we are no different than secular leaders. This message hit me so hard because I could spend years researching the psychological, physical, and spiritual effects of disabilities and the proper tactics to use when praying for peoples healing who have disabilities, but if the love of Christ does not flow from my ministry, then I should just throw this project down the drain. Ultimately, the goal of every prayer for healing is not to see a miracle. As Christs hands, my top responsibility is to let everyone experience the love of Christ whether they get healed or not. Pray for me, my friends. My desire is that the love of Christ would flow from my heart to everyone whom I meet.
