Friends and Family thank you for all the birthday love. My special day has been amazing and you know I had to get a nap in there somewhere LOL I guess u can say Im gettin ol. I remember coming up just growing up sharing with a friend that I didnt think I would live to see 18. For those who have known me say the last 5 years you may say it sounds ludacris but at that time there was a fearful, sad truth to this gut feeling. My environment and choices and fast living that I immaturely made thinking I had this thing called life all figured out. Experiencing the news of a childhood friend murdered and another one on trial was just too close and too much for my little mind and as the years went by it just got worse that life got worse to witness......... Instilling doubt, fear, even maybe an I dont care attitude which was all a lie from the pit of hell....But God and His grace who new me before I new him. Looking back and to think he was with me the whole time brings me to tears. Here I am 32 #Woot #Woot and my desire is not to party and do it up, I truly sat back today looked at such joy in my childrens face to be spending the day with me and glanced at my husband and his desire to make this day perfect and counted my blessings.......to all my loved ones truly dear to me for so many reasons Akisha DaBreo, Kiki Killinuhoes Brown, Loletta Walker, jus to name a very few so much more. We seen it we lived it. I made the conscious decision now to stand in the gap for all of our children coming up that they DO NOT make the turns on that wide winding road. My chidren your children is who I think about every day. These role models and songs in this time teaching them to live fast and die young is planting seed behind a banging beat to repeat the generation.
