Friends and family of my facebook I dont usually share whats on my mind but I really want all to know what I have learned or should I say felt in the last month. I came to the Poconos to spend time away from the drama in Keyser and to my surprise if you have a facebook page the drama follows you! lol! However, though I may not appear to be the holy type I AM AND ALWAYS HAVE BEEN A FIRM BELIEVER IN GOD! NO MY WAY OF LIFE HAS NOT ALWAYS BEEN PERFECT BUT IF ANYONE SAYS THEIRS WAS THEN I DARE TO CALL YOU A LIAR! I am not making this post for anyone to forgive me or my past for I do not need anyone on facebooks forgiveness GOD will in the end! I just want to share a great feeling that I hope everyone gets to feel! I have become very close to a homeless man name Tom while I have been here and from him I have learned alot! Tom was very wealthy at one point from what others have told me! But from Toms lips I have heard he had money but was never wealthy! I meet with Tom every Saturday since I met him and knowing he has nothing I took him to lunch at the Up a Creek Tavern which is notorious out here for their steak and crab soup when I told Tom that I had received extra money from my recent birthday and I wanted to share this with him and he could have anything on the menu! Tears came to my eyes when he replied I have not had a cheeseburger in so long I would really appreciate that! I dont know who I felt sorrier for him or me for I can get a cheeseburger anytime and I never have appreciated that! Anyway the moral of this story I guess is that the holidays is coming close and I hope everyone will do for those less fortunate and not let greed overcome the ones who arent!
