Friends, as you know we are having a vendor/craft show to support Ashley DePriest’s fight against ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia). Our goal is to exceed our fundraising expectations! So, in addition to the vendor/craft show (where we ask all vendors to provide a basket/item worth at least $25) we are planning a BASKET RAFFLE as well as 50/50 drawings. All proceeds will be given to Ashley to help offset the costs of the tremendous medical expenses she is facing. This can be so easily achievable if MANY help a LITTLE!! Ashley has a ton of friends who keep asking “is there anything we can do?”…here’s your chance! We suggest a few people go together so as not to overburden anyone – several people can create some AMAZING baskets and here are a few suggestions: Hunting basket Fishing basket Camping basket Outdoor grilling basket WVU themed basket (or tailgating basket) Night at the movies (dvd player, dvds, popcorn) Relaxation basket Pamper me basket (gift certificates for facials, spa, massage, pedi, etc…) Tons of toys basket (a toy box filled with toys) Techie basket (Ipad, Ipods, phones, etc…) Money tree (fake tree with fake money, but the winner gets a set amount of money) – already planned Picnic basket Beach basket Golf basket Gift card baskets (a bunch of various gift cards) These are just a few ideas. Groups of friends can go together to create these baskets and the sky is the limit. Ask your friends for donations. They can’t donate if they aren’t asked, so ASK, ASK, ASK!!!
