Friends, love on your people today. Look at them a little longer, say the things in your heart, reach out and touch them with your hand or a hug, pick up the phone. We all know how this goes - that we just dont know when it can change, but that it can in an instant. Let the close calls be wake up calls to more presence, more gratitude, more love, more forgiveness, more kindness. Better yet - dont wait for the close calls at all. Be it now. I dont leave home for long trips much, and I generally travel with my partner at my side, but while away, my best friend and love was in a car wreck. Hes fine, everyone is fine - but the cars are totaled, smashed, total loss. It can all change in a moment. What a blessing that it didnt in this momentary close call. I feel more awake for it, and so very grateful to be going home today. Now, go love on your people like your life depends on it.
